The Lawns was built in 1865. We have ample parking and with only a stroll to the beach you can leave your car in the safe knowledge that our premises are protected with CCTV.
We are situated in a pleasant area of Sandown, with all the amenities in walking distance including the Railway Station and bus stops to enable you to explore the rest of the Island during your stay. For those that enjoy nothing more than a good book and a tube of sun cream to while away those hours, our award winning blue flag beach is just a 10-minute stroll away! For those who like to be "Up and About" the Island has so much to offer for everyone.
Water Sports such as wind surfing and sailing are available at Yaverland. Other local attractions include Adgestone Vineyard, Isle of Wight Waxworks in Brading and Lilliput Doll Museum, and many many more. The Sandown Bay tour is operated by the Orange Open Top Buses and will take you along the main attractions of the Seafront of Sandown and Shanklin. Also in Sandown is the Heights Leisure Centre where you can enjoy two indoor swimming pools, gym, health club and sauna.
